Tower Bridge, London (January 2013)

Another Saturday, another day spent wandering the Southbank and grazing our way round Borough Market. I love to explore my glorious adopted hometown whenever I get the chance but it’s been cold recently and apparently all the sane people spent the weekend hibernating. After a couple of hours outside we decided that might be a good idea.

I’m pretty sure I’d have caved and gone home earlier had it not been for my super-cosy scarf; when I was at home over Christmas my lovely Nanna gave it to me, she’d hand-knit it just for me. Cutest thing ever. (And I love the colour combination when wearing it with this coat!)

The rest of the day consisted of 30 Rock, various calorific snacks, fresh pyjamas, a hot water bottle and copious amounts of Yorkshire Tea – all while ignoring the fact I have some serious packing to do prior to this week’s big move. Surely what Saturdays are all about.

    Gorgeous photos as always, I love that you do so much exploring, I get the impression there are a lot of people who live in London who don’t do any of the tourist-y stuff or spend time seeing all the sights and so on but I know if I lived there I’d never run out of things I wanted to do or see! I love London but my other half is a seaside type and comes out in a cold sweat if he’s too far from the sea so we could never live there (he is a country mouse at heart) so I enjoy living vicariously through you! xo
