What better way for a brand blog to celebrate it’s first birthday than by hosting a soirée for their blogger friends? On Tuesday that’s just what British stalwart Laura Ashley did, inviting us to their Kings Road store for an evening of (almost-)too-pretty-to-eat refreshments provided by the stunning Vintage Patisserie ladies, an acoustic performance from the amazing Liz Lawrence, and of course a little look at the new collections.

The team had decorated the room with a fairy-lit ‘wish tree’, festive-scented diffusers and, adding to the winter-y spirit, gorgeous wooden woodland animals (a few of us were sad to discover they were custom-made for the event, luckily we can actually buy these rather adorable ceramic critters!).
